Lame-ing Out

Sorry. I'm lame-ing out today. Is that a word? Would it be laming? I feel like, no. Lameing? Again, not really. Must not be a word. Good. I bring you a new word today.

to lame out
Infinitive: to lame out; third person singular: lames out; simple past: lamed out; present participle: laming out
(slang) To fail to do something because of lameness, inability, lack of desire, lack of motivation, or all of the above.
1. She said she was going to write something witty and coherent, but she lamed out at the last moment.
