Things to make you smile

Well, they at least made me smile...
My cousin had her little girl last night: Victoria Ruth. Mom and baby are well.
This morning as I was driving to work I encountered a road block...of about 15 turkeys! This has happened before and always makes me smile. It's things like that that make me happy to live where we do. They're so silly looking too--such tiny heads. And, there were really at least 15 of them. These aren't the actual turkeys that I saw, but you get the picture.
This is not my Halloween costume this year:
Actually, I don't have a costume, but at least I'm not pregnant.
Joseph is 11 months old! Can you believe it?! What a sweetie...I know that I'm a bit biased.
And, he's apparently already wanting to be techno-savy.
"I'm surfin' mommy."
Hmmm, how did the VCR break? He didn't really break it (I don't think...), and at least it isn't a sandwich or something.

  1. happy 11 month birthday, Joseph! :)He looks so much like Matt in the picture with him by the computer.

  2. Yes- He's a sweetie! Great Pictures! Joseph has the best expressions! I love that Halloween picture. I wanted to dress up as a nun- but since I was only 3 months pregnant I wasn't showing enough to really make it funny! Maybe next time!!!

  3. Oh, my gosh, that's adorable.

Ha! I remember the turkey roadblocks!! Those were always my favorite. Once, I got stuck behind a whole flock of them who were walking down the same road on which I was trying to drive in the same direction in which I was attempting to travel. It took about 15 minutes of laughing (and finally honking - a LOT. Turkeys are stupid!) to get them to where I could pass them...

I'm so impressed with Joseph, by the way, sticking the CD in the VCR. He's almost got it!

  4. KRONES!

Someone carved PV = nRT on a pumpkin here at bowdoin! :)

Just thought you'd like to know.
